Lost in London

Brand design, magazine design, book design, art direction, commissioning, independent publishing

Editor Lucy Scott and I had worked together for a couple of years when we conceived Lost in London; a magazine for city-folk who, like us, were looking to live closer to nature. Running for nine issues, we explored the green between the grey of London’s streets, with stories based around the natural world, community and sustainable living in the big Smoke.

After two years of self-publishing (using our wheelie suitcases to deliver copies to stockists like the Tate galleries, Magma, Anthropologie and Foyles) we were offered a book deal, publishing a hard-backed volume of new content with the same ethos in 2012.
