Another Place: The Lake is a hotel from the team behind the Watergate Bay. They approached us to create a bespoke edition of Ernest, already kept in rooms, to help readers connect with the Another Place experience of the Lake District. We compiled stories to help readers connect with the hotel and its beautiful location, combining curious local history with accessible adventure and expressing the hotel’s philosophy of “active relaxation”. We commissioned a range of photography and illustration, including short video and animation options for social media. Features encourage readers to take the opportunity to try open water swimming, SUP or kayaking, all with the Another Place team on hand to guide you through the experience and to welcome you back indoors with a good meal and a warm fire.
